Details The 2012 annual BU set from Belgium commemorates the Plantin-Moretus Museum (Plantin-Moretusmuseum) and continues a series of sets dedicated to monuments and UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The museum in Antwerp, honours the famous printers Christoffel Plantijn and Jan Moretus. The Plantin-Moretus Museum possesses an exceptional collection of typographical material. Not only does it house the two oldest surviving printing presses in the world and complete sets of dies and matrices, it also has an extensive library, a richly decorated interior and the entire archives of the Plantin business, which were inscribed on UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme Register in 2001 in recognition of their historical significance.

The blister contains the 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cent coins and 1, 2 euros (unc), as well as a silver medallion which pays tribute to the historical museum. They are housed within a full-colour coin folder and outer sleeve with images and detailed information on the UNESCO World Heritage site being honoured.
