The Year Set consists of: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cent coins and 1 euro coin, as well as the commemorative 2 euro coin marking the 150th anniversarry since the birth of Jean Sibelius
Jean Sibelius was a Finnish composer of the late Romantic period. His music played an important role in the formation of the Finnish national identity. His best-known compositions include Finlandia, the Karelia Suite, Valse triste, The Swan of Tuonela (one of the four movements of the Lemminkäinen Suite).
Finnish euro coins have three designs, though two of them are each found on one coin only. Heikki Haivaoja was the designer of the Finnish euro coins for the minor and middle series of coins, while Pertti Makinen is the designer of the Finnish 1 euro coin and Raimo Heino is the designer of the Finnish 2 Euro coin.
