I suspect they're fakes but, I don't really know. Check out the latest four entries.

It'd be nice to at least know what they're fakes of.

In the lower - right corner you have a Silver tetradrachm of King Eucratides I (171-145 BC). It features the bust of Eucratides, helmet decorated with a bull's horn and ear, within bead and reel border. In the reverse it pictures the Dioscuri, each holding palm in left hand.

Eucratides I was one of the most important Greco-Bactrian kings. He uprooted the Euthydemid dynasty of Greco-Bactrian kings and replaced it with his own lineage. He fought against the Indo-Greek kings, the easternmost Hellenistic rulers in northwestern India, temporarily holding territory as far as the Indus, until he was finally defeated and pushed back to Bactria. Eucratides had a vast and prestigious coinage, suggesting a rule of considerable importance.

thanks :) silver eh? so a fake would probably weight less?

hmm... Well I did an imprecise weight check. the verdict somewhere around .2 -.25 ounces.

^~^ not very helpful. But if a silver coin like this weighs 16.8 grams that'd be close to .6 ounces. Thus it HAS to be a fake.

Hmm... Good news! I found out what some of the others are fakes of!

Well, I can tell you what it looks like, although it may well be a copy. This has the types of the coinage of the Seleukid kings of Syria, in particular, Demetrius I (162-150 BC) showing an idealised portrait, and his legend 'of King Demetrios' on the back either side of a seated figure of Tyche. The original would have been very good quality silver.
This is a 'bazaar copy', which has been cast in a mould. The original would have been a silver coin of the Graeco-Bactrian king Eucratides c171-135 BC, his bust on the front and the 'heavenly twins, the Dioskouroi, on horseback on the back.
Woot! 3 down 1 to go!

Since it has Roman numerals, this is probably a Roman coin.

We would love to see a picture though.
