The inner part of the coin depicts a cross with the number "150". The cross bears the inscriptions "Rode Kruis" vertically, "Croix-Rouge" on the horizontal arm. Surrounding the cross the Head of the archangel Gabriel with a cross on top, a symbol of the brand of Brussels, the cat, the sign of the Director of mint Bernard Gillard. On the outer edge 12 five-pointed stars representing the European Union.
