Details The coin commemorates the Finnish nature and wasn was chosen through a photo contest held in April 2017. The raven symbolises today's Finland, a familiar bird in forests and urban environments that easily adapts to new situations. The winning image is a combination of two photographs by Kari Auvinen.

The coin depicts the map of the moon seen from the island of Harmaja in Finland. In front of the moon is a raven perched on a branch. To the left the FI mark identifying Finland; to the right the tick symbol; at the bottom the year of issue "2017". On the outer edge of the 12-star five-point representative of the European Union.

The coin is is included included in the Official Blister "Suomi Finland 100".
