Fleur-de-coin's Future
The site is growing at a stready, but rather slow pace. During the past 12 months, visitors increased in number by almost 34% and the exact same results can been seen for the total pageviews. I appreciate the fact that user loyalty is up from 15% to 18%, demonstrating that valuable content can be found here and people return to check out new additions and updates.
- increase traffic to 1500 pageviews daily
- increase the members of the Coin Collectors Database to 350 people
I always keep a couple of things on my mind, which I try to implement whenever my time and my wife allow me! Some of the things I would like to try are listed below, although it seems that the best ideas are unplanned and impulsive (meaning you will never see them in this page).
- ETA - End 2010: I am trying to learn ASP.NET. It's not all that difficult for some proficient in classic ASP, but I need to work on it for a few months before I try out what I have in mind. I am planning of completely redesigning the Coin Vault application where you can store your collection online. This project is quite HUGE!
- ETA - End May 2010: I am working on a whole new section, which will be quite amazing. It will include coin-related quizes and a Hall of Fame. I have high expectations for this one. I am currently building the questions database and then I will proceed with building the code for the quizzes.
