The Year Set consists of: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cent coins and 1, 2 euros commemorating the 200th anniversary of Finnish Autonomy.
Finnish euro coins have three designs, though two of them are each found on one coin only. Heikki Haivaoja was the designer of the Finnish euro coins for the minor and middle series of coins, while Pertti Makinen is the designer of the Finnish 1 euro coin and Raimo Heino is the designer of the Finnish 2 Euro coin.
The coins feature the heraldic lion of Finland, two flying swans and the fruit and leaves of the cloudberry and the 2 euro coin depicts the profile of the Porvoo Cathedral, which was the site of opening of the first Diet of Finland.
