Details The Official Blister 2012 contains the 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cent coins and 1, 2 euros commemorating Abbe Pierre (unc)

L'Abbe Pierre was a French Catholic priest, member of the Resistance during World War II, and deputy of the Popular Republican Movement (MRP). The coin depicts his portrait, with his beret and the logo of his foundation, including a microtext stating 'Et les autres'? (his favorite motto to recall that one should never forget to help the others).

The coins in the minor series (1, 2, 5 cents) were designed by Fabienne Courtiade, the middle series of "Nordic Gold" coins (10, 20, 50 cents) were designed by Laurent Jorio and the major series of bi-metal coins (1, 2 euros) was designed by Joaquim Jimenez. All designs share the 12 stars of the EU and the year of imprint as well as the letters "RF" for Republique Francaise (French Republic).
