Details The Church of St. Michael (German: Michaeliskirche) is an early-Romanesque Lutheran church in Hildesheim, Germany. It has been on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list since 1985.

As the first building to be constructed in Hamburg after the Reformation, St Michael’s has been the newest and largest mother church since 1685. Hamburg’s iconic landmark is one of the most important baroque churches in northern Germany and a key church in tourism.
