This is the image of an uncirculated coin, not the coin you will be receiving

Details The coin marks 750 years since the birth of Giotto. Giotto di Bondone, known mononymously as Giotto and Latinized as Giottus, was an Italian painter and architect from Florence in the late Middle Ages. He is generally considered the first in a line of great artists who contributed to the Renaissance.

The image of the coin corresponds to a design by Luciana de Simoni, which shows Giotto di Bondone on the right. To his left and written vertically the name of the issuing country "SAN MARINO", as well as the Bell Tower of the Cathedral of Florence that bears the name of Giotto, since the project and the realization of the structure are his works. In the bottom center the Italian mint mark "R".
