Details For two years in a row, San Marino issued two annual coin sets. The Federico Fellini 2013 Blister contains a full set of circulating euros (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1, 2 euros), as well as a unique €5 silver coin honoring film director Federico Fellini.

Federico Fellini (1920–1993) was an Italian film director and scriptwriter. Known for a distinct style that blends fantasy and baroque images, he is considered one of the most influential filmmakers of the 20th century, and is widely revered. He won five Academy Awards, becoming the person who won the highest number of Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film in history.

Designed by Maria Carmela Colaneri, the obverse of the €5 silver coin represents a movie camera and a portrait of Fellini. The reverse shows a vignette by Fellini with a caricature of Giulietta Masina taken from the movie “La strada” and a film strip with the writing “Federico Fellini”.
