|The Official Blister 2015 contains a full set of circulating euros (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1, 2 euros), as well as a commemorative 2 euro coins marking the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Ľudovít Štúr.
The design of the Slovak coins was selected by public vote, where more than 140,000 people participated. The most popular design was the Coat of arms of Slovakia (33,068 votes), followed by the Krivan peak (24,589 votes) and the Bratislava Castle (21,792 votes).
Ľudovít Štúr, known in his time as the Ludevít Velislav Štúr (Uhrovec, October 28, 1815 - Modra, 12 January 1856), was a linguist, poet, journalist, professor and philosopher. He codified the spoken Slovak language and organized volunteers during the Slovak uprising of 1848 against the Kingdom of Hungary. He was a member of the Diet of the Kingdom of Hungary.
