The Official Blister "10 Years of Euro coins & notes" contains a full set of circulating euros (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1, 2 euros), and the commemorative €2 celebrate the 10th anniversary of the introduction of euro banknotes and coins.
All euro area countries will issue a commemorative circulation 2 euro coin in 2012, bearing a common design on the national side to be designed and voted by the European public. The European Commission organised a web-competition for the design of the common commemorative euro coin. with 5 pre-selected designs. Citizens and residents of the euro area voted for their favorite design until Friday 24 June 2011.
Slovak 1 and 2 euro coins depict the "Double Cross in the middle of Three Hills" designed by Ivan Rehak. The coins with a nominal value of 50, 20 and 10 euro cents depict the Bratislava Castle designed by Jan Cernaj and Pavol Karoly, and coin 1 - 5 cents depict the artistic design of Krivan designed by Drahomir Zobek. |
