Established in March 1968, the Singapore Mint is a government-linked mint of Singapore. Since its inception, the Mint has struck almost the complete series of Singapore's circulating coins for the Board of Commissioners of currency The Mint has produced coins and medallions for more than a dozen countries worldwide. In addition to coins, the Mint produces military medals, civilian decorations, service awards, corporate souvenirs and minted jewelry items. All gold products are assayed by the Singapore Assay Office, which is recognized by the London Gold Market.
